Platja es Pujols

On the northern coasts of the Island you can find the little town of Es Pujols, a small sized centre rich in facilities intended for mass tourism. It is very easy to reach and provided with a wide residential area, the ideal place for those who opt to spend their holiday in the liveliest place of the isle. The beach of ES Pujols has the shape of two semicircles separated by a row of rocks , and it is perfectly equipped to host big numbers of tourists who crowd into it especially in August to enjoy its white sand and the clear turquoise sea; chiringuitos, restaurants with menus which offer fresh fish, cafés, stalls and terraces follow one another along the boardwalk, in such a way that this small town becomes the real heart of Formentera daylife and nightlife. In spite of the remarkable number of pubs and bars, the characterisctic taste of this pleasant little town is unspoiled: it is still possible to admire the traditional houses “varadero” and the typical boats of local fishermen. The beachfront is provided with bus stops every 200 metres.
