Platja de ses Illetes

The fabulous Platja de SesIlletes stretches on the west side of the peninsula Trucador, on the other side of Platja de Llevant. Its name means “beaches of the little islands”, as various islets surround it. Platja de SesIlletes is small-medium sized and belongs directly to the natural park of Salinas. It is always crowded with tourists, possibly the most famous and crowded beach in Formentera, so it is not suitable for all those who are thinking of a holiday in a spirit of tranquillity and privacy. Anyway, anyone who visit Platja de SesIlletes, isn’t likely to be disappointed. The sourroundings are a real heaven on heart: very thin, white sand and a dreamy sea makes it simply unforgettable, what’s more, waters are crawling with a rich marine fauna which beckons scuba diving enthusiast from all over the world.
